The Womad Festival returns to the Canary Islands. The town of Gran Tarajal (Fuerteventura) has been chosen to host the 2014 edition of the Womad Festival. It will be the weekend of the 7th, 8th and 9th of November, which has been the usual date during the last nineteen years, when the festival was held in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

The details of the organization and the advance programme of Womad Fuerteventura 2014 will be known shortly , according to the island govertment (Cabildo), the festival promoter.  Its celebration in Fuerteventura is the result of work that began long ago, with the assistance of the City of Tuineje and the Canary Island Government, in addition to all the business of the area and many sponsors.

Sea connections and special airfares for fans of the festival will be available. “We know that the quality and history of Womad attracts many lovers of music and culture in general, so we wanted to advertise now so that people travelling from outside the island can plan better,” says MaríoCabrera, the president of the island goverment.

Needless to say there will be the same multicultural and protest components in te Womad programme which have charactered the festival during the last 30 years of its history. The struggle for the preservation of the environment, one of the foundations of Womad, have a special role in this edition, with the ongoing debate on oil drilling. ”It will be a very important international voice to defend the right of Canarian people to oppose having oil drilling in our waters, exactly now when they are threatening to start drilling and in an area near the drilling zone “says Mario Cabrera..

Dania Dévora, director for Womad in Spain and Portugal, has welcomed the return of the festival to the Canary Islands and for the interest of Fuerteventura, “an island that perfectly combines two very important aspects in Womad that are transcendental: the African vocation with a real openess to its rich culture, and preservation of the environment, where Fuerteventura is a pioneer. ”

Hi there! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using for this website? I’m getting fed up of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m looking at options for another platform. I would be awesome if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.|

Thanks for the strategies presented. One thing I additionally believe is always that credit cards giving a 0 rate of interest often appeal to consumers in zero interest, instant acceptance and easy over-the-internet balance transfers, but beware of the most recognized factor that will probably void your 0 easy neighborhood annual percentage rate and also throw anybody out into the poor house rapidly.

One more thing to say is that an online business administration study course is designed for learners to be able to smoothly proceed to bachelor’s degree education. The 90 credit diploma meets the other bachelor education requirements and once you earn your own associate of arts in BA online, you will get access to the most recent technologies in such a field. Some reasons why students are able to get their associate degree in business is because they are interested in the field and want to have the general education and learning necessary before jumping right into a bachelor education program. Thanks for the tips you provide in your blog.

Thanks for this excellent article. One other thing is that the majority of digital cameras arrive equipped with some sort of zoom lens so that more or less of that scene to become included simply by ‘zooming’ in and out. All these changes in focus length tend to be reflected from the viewfinder and on massive display screen right on the back of the actual camera.

One thing I would really like to say is before buying more computer system memory, have a look at the machine within which it would be installed. In the event the machine is usually running Windows XP, for instance, a memory threshold is 3.25GB. Adding above this would merely constitute some sort of waste. Be sure that one’s mother board can handle the particular upgrade amount, as well. Interesting blog post.

Thanks for the suggestions about credit repair on this web-site. Things i would offer as advice to people would be to give up the particular mentality they can buy at this moment and fork out later. Being a society all of us tend to do this for many issues. This includes getaways, furniture, and items we really want to have. However, you must separate one’s wants from all the needs. While you are working to improve your credit rating score actually you need some trade-offs. For example you are able to shop online to save cash or you can visit second hand outlets instead of highly-priced department stores to get clothing.
